Any movements overdue for an update?
They just updated the skydweller and Daytonas last year. Is the GMT or sub due for an update?

Movements are not an app, they dont need updating that frequently. Rolex is on average using a movement for 20 years before it gets replaced by the next generation.

Have agree Bas I remember when they introduced the 32 with the 72 hour power reserve everyone jumping up and down with joy.But because the 32 movements might loose a few seconds, the forum timegrapher brigade declared it as a bad movement and should not buy.But expect millions of others have bought these 32 movements and have enjoyed wearing them on their wrists.

Rolex doesn’t make a bad movement. That is one of their hallmarks in being a slow evolution in change.

If there were few others experiencing problems it could be considered an anomaly. However, when others that have multiple 32xx movement watches that have had the low amplitude/ slow down problem or have had to send the same watch in multiple times, statistically it seems that it is a pretty wide spread problem. Sorry, but I’m on the side that Rolex has made a bad movement and still hoping one day Rolex is transparent with the problem and the fix. |

I’m in agreement with BMWMoto, however the 32xx series won’t be scrapped yet, but I predict they won’t last nearly as long as the 31xx before being phased out. |

That sounds like a fairly reasonable prediction if Rolex can't sort it out and readily get them all running in accordance with their own claims and specs.
