Rolex folded clasp without year code. It is possible?

Hello,

I have a situation with a Rolex Datejust SG 16233, E serial (1990) with jubilee bracelet with a 62523H.18 clasp. The watch and bracelet are legit but there is no year code marked on the clasp blade.

Have you come across anything like this before?

Thank you very much and best regards from Romania!
Albert.

Interesting thread - found similar instances online so it might be possible.

I'll follow the discussion.

Looks like it slipped through quality control without a date code being stamped in the upper corner. The blade does appear to be genuine.

Hi Springer and thank you for the answer!

Compared to my other Rolex folded clasp, they look identical, just the missing production date code.

Someone else has encountered this situation?!
