Make the wild trade. Buy the crazy watch
Saw NYG with the new aquanaut in rose gold and I can’t help but come on here to reiterate, if you’re on the fence about a Patek of any kind, buy the Patek. Trade the Rolexes, the APs. I haven’t been content like this since before I got into watches. Now I just come back to the forums to see if anyone else has bought an aquanaut or a day date to show off rather than looking for my next piece

JG an amazing filthy sick grail piece and huge congrats!!
I did exactly what you’re proposing last year, I’ll be out on a smaller scale, and could not be happier. You are totally right. Quality not quantity. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Not any time soon at least. The only royal oak I’d want would be a 16202OR and that won’t be in my budget for a long time after getting engaged and not being single anymore lol

All my Rolex’s are gone except an old Sub. The rest are Patek and Breguet plus an AP Jumbo.

I love this piece and I suspect I’ll own one in the not too distant future. I also recently got my first Patek and understand your sentiment. I don’t see trimming my Rolex collection anytime soon (never say never) as I was very particular in my acquisitions. I often play the mental game ‘if you have to get rid of one’. As long as I struggle with that question I’m happy.
I will definitely add an Aquanaut next and I’ve always been partial to your piece…enjoy! |

Congrats on a beautiful piece. Unfortunately if you are posting on a watch forum contentment will have an expiration date.
