Just spun off my last one. Going to stick with Rolex for Subs, Datejusts and Day Dates... Vacheron for chronographs.

We'll see if it lasts...

It’s wider than the yellow gold ones and same width as the rose and white gold models on bracelets

I am going to venture out on this and most likely because the watch is so pretty in pics, then you get it and it is either small, or hard to read etc. He probably tried a few different variations with the same outcome. It happens to many of us here. Not strange at all Neil.

I also only kept my AMG GT Roadster for about 4 months because it didn't fit. Gonna try the new coupe though... I'm sure I'll get dog piled for that too!

I understand not liking a watch, I'll join you in not liking the Daytona, but I am puzzled why buy them?

There are so many watches out there that I like, buying one I dislike would seem a strange logic.

The new 126500 are a tad bigger and maybe a little easier to read due to the new spacing out of the dial with it’s new hour markers

Same here. Hard to read. But after the honeymoon period I quickly realized how much I miss the date window and how much I can’t stand a dial without a moving center seconds hand. Lost a lot selling two Daytonas in years and made a promise not no get sucked into the hype in the future. For me DJ, Sub and GMT are perfect

Now you can rest knowing you tried it. I really like a Daytona and its a watch I enjoy more the longer I have it. The Submariner is my #1 though. Nice thing is you didn't fall in love with something thats easy to unload.

I’m down to one, and sometimes I feel like as a “collector” I need to have a Daytona in my collection… Who knows, I like it, but Daytonas aren’t for everyone.

I had tried to like a Daytona but never could, even turned down a pre-ceramic black dial before the hype..i like the case shape and slim lugs for the comfort and aesthetics, the dial is hard to read for me and it missed the point for the function IMO.
