I think I need to wear this more often

I seem to always pass this one by. Today I decided to wear it. It really is something special for me to wear. I have had it for almost 10 years and just love the proportions of the DJ2. Anyway, just sharing some pics of something I have contemplated on moving. But after an afternoon with it, in different settings. She stays!

I also like the bit of heft of the DJII. Miss my Azzuro Romans Flutted.

Nice watch. I am a big fan of the DJII and have owned most of them over the years. None survive in the collection though.

It’s a nice feeling to pick up a piece you haven’t worn in awhile and enjoy it!

Can’t go wrong with any variant of a classic DJ. That’s a great looking watch!

I love the DJii. I had a silver baton steel one. I eventually moved it on because I had a couple of skydwellers that were quite similar so kept the skydwellers

Very nice Nick!! I have always felt that the Oyster bracelet on a DJ was so underrated.

Beautiful watch but if you fancy something different it is indeed time to play it forward and get what you truly want.

I don’t really know much about the DJ2, but that’s a nice Datejust. I’d keep it, too.

Thanks Kat, it was not in the Rolex cataloqgue for very long. The proportions are bigger than the current. Many say the new one is more evenly proportioned with the smaller fluted bezel. This one, is a little more beefy. I like it, but just never get around to wearing it. And....more importantly.....my wife always reminds me of how much she loves this one. I need to honor her! It stays lol

It's a stunning time piece! Off topic but how many wear their watch while golfing? I play a couple of rounds a week so I do not wear it. Does it do any damage?

My favorite dj2 by far. Wish they would bring back some of these dial options!

Classic dial, DJIi are just classics, that’s a sweet combo, I would keep it but I have trouble getting rid of anything. If you never use it maybe?

Cheers
