Calatrava purchase
Greetings. I've never bought a Patek. Interested in buying a Calatrava for my wife. Are these readily available at authorized dealers and boutiques? I am not interested in a grey market purchase. I am not willing to jump through any hoops, not interested in getting on a "wait list", kissing the salesperson's ass, establishing a relationship, etc... I just want to hand them over $15,000 to $20,000 and walk out with an f-ing watch. Thanks in advance.

Readily available? No, "readily" is too positive of a word. Would they have a random dial combination that they might sell you after you go into the store a few times over the course of X months? Maybe.
Is it much easier to buy one NIB with B&P from a trusted source? Uhhhhh yes.

Not readily. Because Patek produce so few watches virtually anything you want you have to be patient for, including ladies watches.
It depends on the watch too, in my experience most ladies watches will come within a few months. If you walk in and the one you want is on display I’d say in most cases you can walk out with it. That goes for some men’s watches too, such as the 5172 which I was offered last time I went in. |

Can't comment on availability in the US but 15-20k won't do it. You are looking at closer to 30-40k if you are planning to buy at AD / MSRP.
