I wish Breguet would start making more Tradition models in the 37-38mm size. The 40mm with those long lugs just doesn't look right on people with small to medium sized wrists.

All that said I agree with you still. If they offered all the variants in a 38mm case that would have been my choice in an instant. Still love them at 40mm. THIS is the watch I most wish was 40mm or under (picture from Burdeens): Absolutely gorgeous watch with an incredible world time complication variant just WAY too big for the average wrist. I was very excited to try on and instantly was disappointed that I could never pull it off.

Around 6.75'' but pretty flat on top. In this pic it looks borderline but from just looking from few feet away in mirror it looks like it fits my wrist very well. Definitely worth at least trying on before eliminating and you may have a different view on what fits properly in general.

Thinking about upgrading from the retrograde seconds Breguet I currently have to the chronograph tradition. Any thoughts?
Also wondering if its kind of redundant given I have a resonance from Armin Strom coming in which fulfills a similar vibe...but not sure, I just love the Tradition so much. Was also considering the TB variant. |

Absolutely. I have spent a good amount of time wearing different 40mm timepieces. My eye likes a slightly larger dial size, and the 42-43mm offerings tend to be my favorites.

Always been more of a fan of the previous generation Marine line but the more recent one has just been growing on me lately especially this Alarm so I went for it. The dimensions are just perfect wears fantastic. Very impressed how precise the alarm is it says it will go off +\- 5 minutes of where its set I believe but in my experience its within a minute which is an impressive feat.

Congrats- very nice Breguet collection you have and I do like the alarm complication. I also prefer the old marine series but the new ones are also impressive.

The lugs are just too long looking for me..
Beautiful dials though.

Tradition owners, how easy is it to change the strap? Heard there is a very small and difficult set screw. I’m trying to find a precious metal strap monster for my next watch. I love the 7097 and have been considering it but not sure how it looks on more casual straps (haven’t seen many in one).

I saw some of this model came with gold bracelet also (see picture below). Is it possible to add bracelet later?

Remembered this post about Breguet’s accuracy. Mine is running late. It was recently serviced and revised. Should I take it to another watchmaker to try to make it more accurate? Or the result will be the same? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
