Leather bracelet on skydweller

I’m admittedly not a huge watch guy, but I’m used to wearing leather bracelet watches. I love my blue face skydweller but the whole thing being stainless steel feels a bit too “blingy” for me to wear casually.

1. Is it weird if I use a third party leather strap for my skydweller? Like is it one of those “wtf whyd you do that to your rolex” kind of things

2. I’ll probs get a brown leather strap, but is a black strap with a blue face kinda weird? Or nah

I know its my watch I can do what I want with it but figured I hear what actual watch enthusiasts think about this

Get brown and blue and black and however many you want to try I say.

The sky dweller used to come on leather albeit in gold.

Leather w SS and that blue face will look great. Try a few options. You can find a custom strap maker to make it fit real nice. A navy croc might be sharp.

Check out Aaron Bespoke’s website. He can make a custom fit strap for you out of all sorts of materials. I think a blue leather or blue cashmere would look great on that watch. He could even make it to use your OEM clasp.

Not weird at all. Go for it and share some pics when you do.
