Any word regarding a ceramic Jumbo? If the 150th isn't the appropriate time for a 16202CE will the 200th be? LOL

New diver. Dial looks great but I think pricing is out of whack. And I’d want SS for a diver…

That's awesome, but wow 70k for a PM diver is really something.

Looks great, but I don't know what's up with the pricing for the LE WG divers. For a ROO chrono the premium for a gold case is only $16k

Missing piece in my collection. I can't tell whether the look I get at the boutique when I talk about needing a 16202CE is pity or confusion.

Though a LE, the jump in price compared to the SS is HUGE! It definitely makes the Japan Diver (LE500) a steal!

If you order a new GC from AP (assuming you are a very serious big boy and are given an allocation), a degree of customization might be available upon request - you will find there are, accordingly, a lot of effectively unique piece Grand Comps as a result.

Pricing is insanity - these brands are going to price themselves into ruin, it's almost borderline disrespectful lol

This was leaked a few weeks ago. Is there any official press for it yet?

Do we know the region or reason for the LE?

This was released a few years ago, another white gold diver, LE of 300. It was ~$60k USD new. You can find them now in the mid $30k range.

Does AP really need a reason

Once they made a Diver with a gold bezel, on a leather strap for some horse racing cup...

It is almost like Grand Seiko reasons... cherry blossom in mid june seen by the eyes of 50 year old gardener how forgot to put contact lenses limited edition.

That would be amazing. But when I asked about this my SA said the bracelet is so thin on the jumbo he thinks it might crack lol

As AP started with complication, I would assume and hope 150th's theme will be complications and not materials.

Totally agree, the pricing has become utter garbage and not even borderline disrespectful. This is a DIVER, ceramic bezel and rubber case. Pricing it at $70k post tax is insulting.

It's an exercise of literally how quickly can you set $35k of your money on fire...

Shouldn't get worked up anymore but the amount of "LE" that are being churned out is getting a bit old. Starting to have a distinct Omega feel to it in an effort to squeeze out some more extra $$ from customers and pretend this watch is rare

A 15510or, 15407st, and 26240ce feel like bargains after seeing this.

You saw the green dial one too I imagine? And the white ceramic with green accents one?

My steel blue dial RO Grand Comp has no specific customisation but is still a unique piece (only steel one with a blue dial).

My offshore skeleton GC is one of three out of the factory but I had the bezel swapped making it unique.

At the rate that pricing is going up, it's making it more and more unrealistic to be able to continue this hobby.

There are some really crazy ones out there but they tend to stay within the private chats sadly and never make it to social media. I have seen a couple over the years.

Jumbo RD2 QP, crown operated, same thickness as regular Jumbo. Will make Patek QPs look like grandma's clock.

That would certainly be cool and top of the heap.

The RD2 movement is 2.9 vs 16202s 3.2mm for thickness, but RD2 movement is 32mm in diameter vs 29.6mm. Could they make it fit?

I have all the reason to believe you after you called the concept early.

Man that would be sweet
