Rolex 7002

Not a "valuable" vintage model, but i like the Rolex 7002's simplicity.

Stamped 14K on back, this one is from around 1968. 35mm. 1520 movement I think.

I put it on a Rolex black lizard strap.

Anyone else have one?

Cheers!

Beautiful watch - love the simplicity. Few comments/questions: 1) is the watch 14K or 14K gold filled? 2) See if you can find a small Rolex crown - you don't really need a larger crown as it's auto, but will look more appropriate.

don't have that particular model, but have this one - similar in SS. Mine is cal 1210 (or variation) - i.e. manual wind.

Thanks for input and here is better picture

Thanks for input everyone!

Vlad, should the proper crown have a Rolex mark on it? I have never seen that before.

Here is a much better picture. The 35m size is good for my 6.5 inch wrist.

Does anyone know how these watches were marketed to corporations or have any of the original marketing material. Given the ref. 7002 was never sold by an AD, it is a very unique piece. Enjoy!
