the deconstructed romans is what really makes the DD40 standout

I have 3, love them and wear often. The best Rolex there is, the best looking. Wears great.

Great watches. And great “value” relatively speaking of course.

Thinking of trading my Daytona SS ceramic white dial for a DD 40 WG olive dial.

Just seems like a better move up.

This is my first Day-Date, and I can easily say it's become the most worn watch out of my other 14 Rolexes. You could dress it up or down, and it would fit with any outfit, casual or dressy. One drawback would be the lack of micro-adjustment.

I just have to say….for what the DD costs, the fact that it doesn’t have a micro adjustment is insanity. It is such a summery watch in my humble opinion. I would need this thing to be loose enough to not be tight during the summer months, but then it would fall below my wrist bone and lay on my hand while indoors in the A/C which is absolutely not how watches are meant to be worn. Wish Rolex would fix this.

I'm glad I went a little 'different' with mine (chocolate motif).

It doesn't get a great deal of wear, but when it does, it puts a smile on my face.

My favorite watch I’ve owned period. One I regret selling the most.

Spoken like a true rotation wearer. There is something so wrong with “my favorite” watch and only 2-3x a month BUT I’m the exact same way. It’s all I know

I've had 2, the WG Olive romans dial and WG black stick dial.. I really liked the stick dial, and love the proportions of the DD40 + presidential bracelet.. probably my favorite Rolex in the lineup, used my black dial as a daily for nearly a year and loved it!

DJ41, OP41 were a bit too big for me compared to the bracelet visually for some reason, DD40 is just right!
