51 Impressive Hours !!
Hi guys,
Put my new Ommie on the "test bench" the other day and managed to squeeze out a very impressive FIFTY-ONE hours of Power Reserve from start to finish. It seems, OMEGA has made further modifications to their excellent co-axial movement by introducing the modified 2500C movement in the Planet Ocean model. This movement beats at 25,200 A/Hr. instead of the standard Hi-beat 28,800 A/Hr. which is common to all Rollies. This slightly slower beat of 7 bps as against Rollies 8 bps, has considerably improved accuracy and Power Reserve. Cheers - JJ |

I can't see how a slower beat rate would improve accuracy but I can see how it would increase the power reserve. Maybe you are a little too biased JJ. Nevertheless it's a nice Pumpkin.
