Worn serial number
Hi Guys
I've just bought a 1998 14060 Sub I took the bracelet off to look at the numbers Both the 3rd digit on the model number and serial number are badly worn I'm guessing its from the pin strap rubbing Is this unusual? Thanks in advance Matt |

In a normal situation, the serial cannot be worn due to age. It's placed there for a reason to be protected from elements.

It's pretty typical sometimes with how tight the tolerances are on Rolex bracelets/endlinks.....you often have some rubbing on the serials and makes it hard to read without a loupe.
