Breitling Bentley

Hey guys was wondering what you think of this Breitling Bentley

Being offered a pretty good price on it.

Its kind worn but feel like a good polish will do it up.

i think its likely real but not 100%. I've never owned that model though, but I have a blackbird big date on right now that has the same movement. It was one of the cheaper breitling bentleys because it wasn't an inhouse movement, but it is a nice movement a 2894-2 with a DD big date module.

It's not a quickset date though so take care setting the date between 8pm and 3 am and try to stop chrono seconds near "12" and then reset. It isn't a flyback. Also it won't be as waterproof as a blackbird will because of the slide rule. I wouldn't swim or shower with it.

I would get a blackbird big date unless you are in love with the slide rule, all of the sub hands are lumed. Should be about 3-4k for a nice example.
