Off to college

Well sent my son off to college today. Crazy how fast time goes and also hard it is realizing all the daily interactions we take for granted come to a sudden end. Since he really likes and always wears watches (mostly Gshocks), thought maybe I’d give him one of mine as a going away present. Thought the Ranger would make a nice under the radar choice. It was so rewarding to see his reaction. Also enjoyed watching him admiring it throughout the move in.

Very nice gesture. I am sure he will treasure it. My son started college last year...I just don't want to think about the watches I could have bought in lieu of his tuition!

Great story! I remember the time I went to ASU when I was 18. My mom said that after I left my dad cried so hard one of his contacts came out. Crazy how time flies. Best of luck to your son!

You’ll enjoy his company even more when he comes home. You will learn very quickly how much mess they make when they’re home.....😉
It gets easier. Hang in there.

I’m on the other end of the spectrum. My daughter just started kindergarten. My wife had a hard time with it, i actually did as well. I was surprised how hard it hit me. It’s the start to a long but I’m sure short feeling road to college.

Congrats to you and your son! I’ve got a year with my baby girl before she goes off to college... where does time go?! At least we can tell time with something we all love and enjoy.

Timely post - moving my one and only baby girl into College tomorrow. Not easy - first day of kindergarten feels like two years ago. Wonderful gesture and best of luck to you.

I was thinking on purchasing that, a North Flag or even a Blackbay or a Tudor GMT to my son who is going to college this year too. But it seems that currently he is not able to appreciate Tudor and neither I am going to purchase him a brand that he appreciate: Tag Heuer (waste of money) or Rolex (he is not ready and I do not consider appropriate at this time) :-(
I have gift him a quartz multifunction titanium Tissot T-Touch from my collection that he seems to like and if he would be ready he would have a Rolex when he graduate from college.
