Crown and tube durability.

Tube is standard replacement during service unless it is gold and it damaged.

Crown, any deep scratches/dings and it is an option, if it catches hard, or only secures on a thread or two or is simply massively scratched/dent then it is not an option.

Up to the individual watchmaker to decide, within these 'guidelines'. I am usually pretty strict and often say that it needs replacement where other watchmakers might not.
