First Tudor and I’m impressed. Black bay silver 58 925
All I can say is this is an amazing piece. I bought this for my wife. Now, I’m starting to wonder if I shouldn’t grab a 58 or other model for myself. Tudor is attainable, well made and this piece is stunning. I bought this to complement my wife’s brown dial reverso… she is really impressed and I bought this so she can wear it to her work without fear of theft, judgement, or scratching. I realize silver can scratch but this isn’t a day date.
The silver is a “dull” beautiful brushed finish. Side by side, we can definitely see a difference between ss and silver. This piece is dressy, understated, highly legible, and wears well. The sapphire I believe is synthetic, but amplifies the markers. In sunlight this piece shows grey, brown, and at dusk, looks black. I’m very impressed with this piece and we were fortunate to get this. A smaller strap is on the way but my wife will wear this as-is until the smaller strap arrives. The AD notched an additional hole in the strap. The size of 39mm is perfect as well. While we can both wear this piece, I find its colors to be soft and feminine. That’s just me. |
