Incoming!!!
Hello Guys,
So just recently I posted a thread asking about a Pam118 and whether it had been polished too much etc etc. After some thinking and looking, a lot of looking, I ended up with a 560. I never thought I'd ever go for this reference as I like having the sub seconds. I had some initial criteria that I wanted to meet. To have sub seconds, wanted one of the older Panerai with the 'Panerai' engraved case back, to have a sandwich dial, most of this was in the 118 bar the sandwich dial. So I was surprised at myself for having ended up with a 560. I managed to buy a 2 year old one full set in original condition and has not been polished. And I like this fact, it allows me to just wear the hell out of it and not worry since I didn't buy it new. And that was the purpose of this watch, a daily. And with it being 8 day manual I thought I don't need a sub seconds. As soon as I took it out of the box I just loved the heft and look of the 560. And the other bonus is that it's still got warranty till 2028! And registered on my own panerai online account. Just given it a clean as I asked for it to be sent to me untouched so arrived dirty and with all the grime from the previous owner was quite satisfying getting it all nice and clean. Anyway here's some pic, hope you enjoy. Regards, M. |
