My First Rolex - Datejust 16030 Tapestry Dial
Just received my first "keeper" Rolex. (I did previously have a 16030 that I flipped after a week, and currently have a Tudor BB 58, but this is my first real, "I'm gonna keep this one" Rolex.) Got it from Ponycar350 in the Classifieds and it's beyond my expectations! Thanks, Jared!
This has a slate grey tapestry dial and is in seriously beautiful, near mint condition. I couldn't be happier. I also have looked more closely at the open 6 and 9 and think it may be the original date wheel. I had posted some questions about it a week ago and couldn't tell for sure given the grainy photos. But I've taken some fresh ones, so if any of you have an educated opinion on this, please let me know. Either way, I'm pretty excited. Last edited by shudder; 11 January 2023 at 05:29 AM..
