A little dial advice would be appreciated...
I've been at this whole Rolex thing for over thirty years but I find myself stumped as to whether I should pull the trigger on a vintage OP and it regards the dial.
It has an honest to goodness tropical dial that I find very attractive. The flaws are even, and evenly spaced around the entire dial and, I don't know, I just kind of like the way it looks. But I've never owned one before. I know vintage Subs are legendary when they have a nice tropical dial, and they command a premium. It's not the value I'm concerned about, it's whether the fading is going to continue to happen, or become lopsided and unattractive at some point in the future. My daughter passed the bar not to long ago, and I was thinking of giving it to her as her first "grownup" watch. Any info or advice would be appreciated.
