Does the dial text look right on this?

I saw this in a local antique goods store. They say it is a genuine Rolex and that the local watchmaker took the back off to confirm. It comes with an old Rolex box but no receipts or papers. The store is legitimate but I can't reconcile the dial text.

I've not seen one without some indication of watch type under the Rolex text. For example OYSTER or such

All the reverse image searches show similar shapes but they all have a line of text under the ROLEX.

The bottom text - Shock resisiting looks like it appears regularly.

Does anybody have any thoughts? It would be appreciated.
