My new threads aren't showing

Hi guys, I joined recently and even became a pledge member. I've spend some time reading first but wanted to start some new threads now. But none of them seem to show up. Am I doing something wrong? Here's what I tried:

First I tried to start a FS thread - I can see how that may not be desirable as a first contribution, so fair enough.
Second I tried to introduce myself in the new member section
Thirdly I tried to start a thread in the Other (non-Rolex) Watch Topics section on getting some suggestions for a new dress watch.

With all of these attempts I got a message saying they would be reviewed by an admin first (which disappears by the way before you can fully read it), and then nothing.... no message, no thread, nothing in my statistics, no email. I see lots of other new threads coming up in the sections I tried to post them in, but not mine...

I have no idea what I am doing wrong here, can someone help? Also I sure hope this turns out to be my first new thread
