Speedmaster Alaska Project

I don't see much discussion of the Alaska Project Speedmaster here, which seems to be a very interesting piece that has steadily gone up in value. In the context of being repeatedly bombarded with "limited edition" models over the past few years, how does the Alaska Project stand up, as both a watch to be worn, and as a collectible? I'd love to hear from those who actually own one and wear it. Prices seem to have dipped a bit, though easily double what they were 4-5 years ago.
