What does the journey to an Aquanaut look like?

My first Patek Philippe is my 5168G with the blue dial. I bought it not long after introduction, and I can't recall how much "above" they were secondary at the time. My AD knew I always liked the Aquanaut but didn't care for the black dial, so when this came out I was approached and accepted. I have a pretty good history of jewelry bought over the decade prior, which my wife wanted and I felt was purchased fairly, plus some Rolexes which I still own. I doubt it was much over six figure.

If you only want the Aquanaut, buy it grey. Don't buy anything you don't want to get there, but don't forget the dealers are a business in it to make money, and they will do what is most profitable.
