Turning 40 with the SBGW231G
I’m turning 40 in 8 days and my lovely wife treated me to the SBGW231G.
We were browsing back in December, and she surprised me with her idea of this generous gift; we took delivery on Friday. This model is officially being phased out for the newer SBGW301, but my AD had one left in the company. (Note: I deliberately wanted this one as opposed to the new model.) No bubbles! (Even under the loupe.) I’ve been excited about this model for a while, so this was a magnificent and welcome gift. Wrist is just under 7.25 inches; I don’t think the 37mm case looks too small. And—my IRL initials are “GS,” so this feels like the correct addition to my personal collection. Thanks for letting me share. Hope you’re all enjoying your watches.
