mismatched dials
here's a conundrum. I bought a bi-metal submariner 16613 with an "M" proceeding the serial number which meant that the watch was produced in 2008. The dial had a "Swiss-T<25" under the 6 which would mean that the lumes are tritium, correct? It is my understanding that Rolex stopped using Tritium around 1998 and switched to Luminova or superluminova, so I thought that the dial had been replaced with an earlier one. Sent the watch to Rolex to have the dial replaced with the correct one. They got back to and said that the Tritium dial was the correct one. Can anyone explain this?
