Panerai Pamguard warranty transferrable?

Morning Guys
New user, but have been lurking for some time. Question, I am looking to purchase a 3 year old Carbotech which seller states has a transferable Pamguard. Panerai claims they do not see a warranty associated with the watch serial number, seller has a screenshot of the warranty being registered to the watch along with all paperwork. Panerai on their site claim its non transferable, seller claims it is and says he has been told it is.
Anyone ever have experience actually doing this?
Thanks in advance
