Icon5 Going backwards?

So as long as I can remember, I have been one of those Rolex or nothing type people when it came to luxury watches. Cared nothing about any other brands..... However, during the past six months I have become much more interested in Tudor and Omega. Even bought my first Tudor from a Tudor AD in Italy a few months ago.

This weekend went to the local Tudor AD and tried on a bunch of watches. Pelagos FXD, Black Bay 925, Black Bay 41, BiMetal GMT, and a few others. Went across the street to the Omega AD and tried on a couple watches there too.

So I believe most people look at these brands before the graduate to Rolex. Seems like I am going backwards.... maybe I am broken. Not sure if this is normal.....

Anyone else?
