Omega seamaster 300m needs service already?
Hi All,
My Omega seamaster 300m is roughly 8 months old. I picked it up in October. Yesterday I went to put it on and the power reserve was out after not wearing it for a few days so I unscrewed the crown to wind it. Usually the second hand starts moving very quickly (roughly after about 4 winds) but this time it took a few winds extra which surprised me. The second hand started moving but the strange thing is that when the watch was fully wound, the movement became very gritty and just feels off. It’s not the mechanism to prevent overwinding, there is definitely something up. Watch has been off my wrist since yesterday but overall still keeping time. Has anyone experienced this? Should I pull the crown out all the way to stop the movement until it gets looked at? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
