Rolex Oyster Perpetual Advice

Hi all,

This is my first post so apologies if it is in the wrong thread.

I registered with both Rolex and a number of dealers back in 2019 to purchase an Oyster Perpetual 36 silver dial.

As I was not expecting to hear back I purchased a 1980s datejust that I am really happy with.

I was contacted this week with the above in stock asking if I was interested in buying the above.

I would be interested in everyone’s thoughts this watch in general, how it holds value, and how turning it down would impact my chances of purchasing future watches in the future?

Thank you in advance for any advice.
