A strange trip to my first Patek - 6007G

For awhile, I've been thinking about acquiring a 6119R. So I finally called the closest PP AD. The store manager asked that I visit the store in person to register my interest in a 6119R.

I had Friday off, so I made the 2-hour trek to the PP AD. They did not have a 6119 in the demo case, but I did get to try on a 4947/1A, 5320G-011 and lastly a 6007G-001.

I actually liked how the 6007G fit and also liked the pop of color and texture. Compared to the 6119R, I could see myself wearing the 6007G for both work and casually.

To my surprise, the store manager said that if I was interested in it, I could purchase it that day. Fortunately, I have a wife who is understanding of my watch addiction and I went home with the 6007G.
