Incoming OP36mm Turquoise
Hi Everyone,
I had been considering this configuration for some time, and a recent holiday away triggered me to buy it. The majority of my humble collection is rose gold, and I wanted something as a casual, "summery", fun daily wearer that I can swim with. My stainless steel Royal Oak is great, but I wanted something more robust. I recently turned down two further Royal Oaks from AP House London because I wanted something more durable. I do not have a relationship with a Rolex AD, but I have a couple of clients who work for two different AD's in London. They both told me that without a purchase history, this would be "impossible" to purchase. In light of this information, I bought from a grey dealer I have known for some time. I am sure grey prices will continue to fall for this piece. However, I was keen to find one from a trusted dealer, with a white swing tag to minimise the risk of the model being a "Dial swap". This is also a 2024 model/partially stickered, so I was happy to snap it up! I have attached some photos below with my other two Rolex watches to help give an idea of size compared to the Datejust 41mm and Day Date 40. I look forward to having fun with this watch and enjoying it on vacations!
