FS: 1971 Omega Speedmaster 145.022-69 w/ Extract
Hi,
I'm pleased to offer an Omega Speedmaster Professional 145.022-69 This watch is in very good condition. Its nicely faded bezel and dial patina give it a mellow, smoky character. CASE: Unpolished case shows hairline scratches and signs of wear consistent with age. Caseback shows pronounced hippocampus engraving. The numbers 26340 have also been engraved on the caseback, but their origin and meaning are unknown. DIAL: Good condition painted logo dial with short tritium indices. Lume appears intact and has developed a nice yellow patina. Hands are in very good condition, showing patina similar to indices. BEZEL: Dot near 90 in good condition with blue/grey fade. Light chipping in a few spots and a bit of pitting between 4 and 5 o'clock. DNN is correct for a -69 produced after roughly 3090xxxx. MOVEMENT: Calibre 861 with 31317747 serial number is in good condition, winds smoothly and functions properly. Service history unknown. BRACELET: Omega 1039 with 516 endlinks shows signs of light wear and minimal stretch. Clasp stamped 3rd quarter of 1971. ACCESSORIES: Extract of the Archives showing production March 19th, 1971 and delivery to Venezuela. NOTES: -I live in New Zealand where shipping is challenging, but I am travelling to the US in the beginning of October. I will be able to ship via Fedex fully insured with Parcel Pro in the first week of October. Asking $7,750 USD shipped Wire Only. No returns unless watch is not genuine Omega. Plenty of references. Any questions please PM or grantweber AT gmail DOT com Thank you, -GW |
