Face up, crown down... doesn't work...
I have been trying to regulate my watches by using the face up/crown down evening position method and I have to say that it doesn't work. My explorer is running at a constant -1 per day (I sleep with it on) but leaving it face up on the table over night loses even more and it will be less an extra second or so my morning. My DJ is currently +2 and I have been trying it crown up and there is no change at all. I know crown down is the best for this but I figured that at lease one second or so would have been shaved off after time or perhaps only gain +1 for the day.
Anyway, I guess the good news is that these could probably be regulated to +0.5 or so given the consistency, does anyone else have watches that don't seem to care how they are left overnight? |
