Depth Ratings on Rolex

Has anyone wondered why Rolex doesn't put the real depth rating on their watches? I mean they changed the sub from 200m to 300m. The GMT's are only good for 50m (I bet a lot more). Do they just not care because they know no one will take it down that far?

I'm just curious because I would like my watch to have the biggest number on it possible!!!!! Imagine a SD with 10000ft!!!!!

I just checked out Breitling's site and they say their SuperOcean is good for 5000ft. I know the SD is tougher than that one.
