Student from MA - Looking for 1st rolex
So I've been working my butt off at school and am approaching graduation day for Mechanical Engineering. My parents promised a "grad present" my brother got some cash and a vacation. I've always told them I wanted a rolex for grad to welcome myself to the professional world.
The catch is, I'm not big into "bling" I don't really like overly shinny watches and preffer leather straps. I've also got a thing for antiques so I've really been looking for a good classic rolex with a leather strap but to be honest I know next to NOTHING about watches... The real problem is I don't know what to look for, key workds to search, and things to avoid... any help would be awesome (good articles to read, places to surf) I've been poking around here for a while and reading what I can. And might I add some of you have amazing watches/collections |
