Hello from around the world
Good Evening all!
I've been lurking for a while and finally got some time this evening and decided to introduce myself. I'm 27 and have lived around the world. I am of Indian descent and primarily grew up in the Middle East. (Almost 18 years). In the years since then, I've lived in India, Canada and for the past 3 years, the wonderful USA. I am an IT professional for a very large bank in the States. I have a twin brother who lives and works in the Middle East and my dad who are as into wrist watches as me. We have shared a number of our watches and for the most part consider our watches a "family" collection. However, when I moved here I only carried a couple with me. We're not some billionaire family (despite what many in North America assume when they hear Middle East), but we've all done decently for ourselves. That said, no APs, PPs, etc. in the collection, lol. I own a single Rolex which my dad helped me buy by pitching in a little. :) I didn't want to take his collection with me. I've admired automatics for a couple of years now but I'm still not the most knowledgeable person on the various models, references, etc. However, the watches I've worn include Rolex, Omega, Longines, Baume & Mercier, Maurice Lacroix, Mont Blanc & Tissot, among others I'm forgetting. :S Either way, just wanted to say hi to all and express my happiness of joining. I'm also a budding photographer. The following are pictures of my Rolex and my tiny collection here in the states. Forgive me for the quality on the second picture. :D |
