Quick Bracelet Repair Question

Hi all,
I recently acquired a very sweet 1970 GMT, which came with a C&I expandable bracelet. By and large, the bracelet is in really great shape. Hardly any stretch at all and no awful dents or scratches.
However, at one end is one stretched link. My question is:
Is shipping it off to Michael Young for a full repair, at the cost of probably close to $250 (after shipping and insurance on both ends) the best choice? Given that it's a riveted bracelet, a DIY repair seems daunting, if not completely impossible for a rookie like myself. But IS there a way to fix this that you guys know of that doesn't involve sending it to Hong Kong? Something stateside? It's not a terribly valuable bracelet, so I'm just looking for a cheaper alternative.

Thanks so much, guys.
