Oyster Date Precision (opinion needed)

I just bought my daughter a vintage Oysterdate Precision, however when I tried to set the time and date I realized the crown was moving very heavily (not stuck though) but so heavy that the crown was unscrewed and almost came out.

In comparison to my newer Rolex and Tudor the movement is really heavy. But the watch runs fine.

Do you think a proper service at a Rolex service center will help loosen the movement ? ?

Opinions welcome :)
