Odd coincidence!

...so I am sitting on the bus, coming home from work and I noticed in front of me a totally unassuming looking middle aged woman wearing a nice ladies Rolex with a nice turned bezel - ok -I wan't close enough to actually verify it was not a Folex, but it definitely had a sweep hand and the case polish was like mine - it looked pretty real. Whilst I am looking at that, a very elderly gentleman gets on and sits next to her, not a very good walker and a bit wobbly and whaddya know...on his wrist was a TT jubilee braceleted Rolex with a date and again, with a sweep hand. As I said, I did not look too closely but I did notice that the little Rolex crown on the strap for opening it was not worn away and that the crystal was very shiny and unscratched and looked pretty real from wher I was.
So, there we were , 3 of us wearing the same make of watch! Never seen that before!
Small world - and nice to see that these watches are not just the provenance of show offs, but regular people like me!
