My Breitlings, Tags and Panerai watches make the typical 40mm Rolex watches look dainty unless you want the DSSD which is too thick. Finally us brand agnostic watch lovers can get a Rolex diver watch and guess what? There's a lot more of me than there are of you purists waiting in line to buy the next cool watch and Rolex did this because they know that too.
