Anyone ever buy a Rolex with some intent of mounting it on Rubber? Contemplating DSSD

Anyone ever do this? My conundrum is because I have a Sea Dweller and pretty much think it's the perfect all around sports watch but I do miss having a watch on rubber. I have 4 young (7, 5, 3 & 16 months) children so we spend a lot of time outside and in the water. I love the heft of the DSSD for a long time and since seeing pics of others mounting this beast on rubber (would also take recs of RubberB vs Everest). So I am wondering if I can pacify my desire for the DSSD by getting one, mounting it on rubber, and leaving the SD on the bracelet. If it matters, I have 7.25" wrists.

Thanks all--
