I've owned a Sub No-Date, Sub Date, and now have a SD4K which I purchased as my retirement watch.
Besides ALL the reasons folks have stated above there is one primary reason I chose the SD4K and it's because the model is rare... the last of the 40mm SD line. Although there are other GREAT Rolex dive models, the SD4K is the ultimate of the long history of the dive watch line with a killer pedigree. The limited production of the SD4K makes it very exclusive and I revel in the snobbery of it all!!! |
