FYI, I like the fit on my wrist 16700.

The new model lugs kinda bite into my wrist a little, and the clasp is really big and gets scraped up easily compared to 16700.

Just an observation for those considering purchasing. Since the new one (and the old one) was a gift, I wear it, but for those considering a purchase, try to "try one on" before you buy if you can so that you can make informed decision.

Everybody is different, and I like wearing my 16700 at work because you never "feel it" on your wrist, and the new model is quite the opposite of that for my sized wrist

Nice comparison photos, I just love the feel of the 16710 (16700). As wilsonpepper had described above you hardly feel like you are wearing a watch just about.

Having owned both, I have to agree- the weight is by far the most significant difference. In fact, I'm still not used to the weight of the 126710BLRO.
