Was a daily beater for about a year, never had that noise. Just wound mine and did usual monthly... no noise. Should be under warranty so no worries.

The ball bearings make a little more noise than the axle shaft on the 3135 which was silent, but it should not be "very loud."

Have owned a handful of Sky Dwellers - never heard a "noise" on any of them.

Mine isn't noticeable or audible. Don't worry, can always send it off to RSC for evaluation or service once things normalize after coronavirus closures.
