Gmt band looks funny
Hello I’m looking to buy this 5.1 million serial gmt from a friend and I think the band is not right it has 1/75 stamped and the Rolex stamp does not look right to me but I would like others with more experience to help me make the right call.
The case back is from a 1968 and is dished out? Thanks for your help Jay https://www.flickr.com/photos/146168.../shares/e1AD2s Here is the head it has a 1570 movement https://www.flickr.com/photos/146168.../shares/z30T0q https://www.flickr.com/photos/146168.../shares/646ps1 |

That's a fake bracelet. I also wouldn't expect that dial with a 5.1 serial, although perhaps it could be consistent with the mis-matched case-back. Insert also mis-matched at a minimum. Not sure what "dished out" means, but at first glance this appears to be a watch with a story.

Find a new place to shop. While the dial looks genuine, it is out of sequence for the serial number if that matters to you.
That case should have a Mark III or Mark V. Also 5.1 million serial numbers did not come with a 68 case back. 5.1 million is circa 1976/77. The bezel insert appears to be a genuine Rolex insert.
