As with my GMTII C... not sure how any spec of matter can be stuck between.

It's hardly visible, just let it go.

it's barely visible in the massively blown up pic...did you actually see that with your naked eye, or just notice it when looking at 20X pics of your watch ?
Rub some dark colored dirt in over the top and forget about it...

This would drive me nuts as well. Its easy to say its a small defect but once you know its there.....

I would definitely take it to your local service center for assessment.

At this point I am thinking of taking it to the nyc service center. Do you think this is something they can fix up on the spot for a new piece? Will there be any risk/ service charge?

Thanks!
Perhaps try cutting a plastic straw from someplace like Starbucks on an acute angle. You end up with a very skinny edge that can fit into most cracks/gaps, it's soft so it won't scratch anything, and it's firm enough to maybe get the gunk out. Worth a shot.

Me too

My BLNR had the exact same issue. I never could figure out what it was, some kind of hard material that crumbled like plaster. Either way, I was able to remove nearly all of it by straightening a staple and carefully scraping it out

Curious if you ever found a solve for this issue? My 2020 Sub has exactly the same issue on the 10 marker.

Would love to hear if you were able to fix?
