126610LN First impressions and the chances of getting one?
I had the chance to stop by my local AD and saw the new 41mm and had the chance to put it on my wrist and it was stunning. I was never too much of a fan of the maxi case and I feel that Rolex redeemed themselves and went back to its roots.
I inquired about getting one and the owner ensure me I will get one- which I knew it was bs, since he wasn’t all that interested in writing down my name or make it a thing. It was like imma give him hope and I soon as I leave, forgotten. What are the chances of getting one at the AD? Are black subs hard to come by? Any suggestions about getting it at retail? I've got the lv version, couldn't be happier with the 41 sub. No idea about your AD chances, being yourself is the best approach. However things turn out you'll learn, without risking feeling you compromised your integrity.

Been on the waitlist since Sep. My AD texted me last weekend as they finally got the exhibition models in so I stopped by. Checked out the 41mm sub as well as blue daytona and blue dial DJ41.
AD said their stock has been getting better and they are now fulfilling waitlist and I'm enroute to receive the sub BEFORE July for sure. He gave a hardcover rolex magazine as well on my way out. To put this in perspective, that'd make it a 10 month wait. I have zero purchase history and I've never spent a dime here at my AD. |

To be honest, I'm surprised the owner of an AD would, as you said, "ensure" that you'd get one, if he's not going to follow through. In today's market, that's a total BS way to deal with a customer. Not sure if you have history or a relationship with the owner, but he should at least be honest with you and tell it like it is. Unless, of course, he's being serious. Good luck.
