In about a month, go back by and say “hi” whilst wearing it. That’s it.

I try just to be nice and help them out where I can in normal course. Have hooked them up with good contacts and helped them out in their personal lives. And of course always buy whenever they call.

Put the shoe on the other foot: if you helped a client acquire something of particular desire and value, would you not appreciate a small gift (bottle of your favorite wine, box of chocolates, etc.) of thanks? Do unto others …

I get my salesman a good bottle of wine. I feel it’s a small gesture of thanks for coming through on a hard to get item. Don’t be a cheap ass. For all that say, it’s not a good idea. You just outed yourself. Have some respect! Cheap ass bums. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

After I get a New watch I always give them the middle finger.
That way I am sure they remember me. |

Logically it doesnt make sense to give a gift in normal market conditions, but in todays world I think its a nice gesture!

I made what was for myself a massive purchase in September , last year at a well known AD in London , from my initial enquiry , keeping myself updated to actual purchase the assistant was fantastic throughout . On the day I collected my watch I think my smile / grin and thanks for her help were more to her than any gift .

One of the best things you could do is to write a 5* google review and reference the sale associate by name as having done a superb job. That means a lot to business in this day and age.
