Vintage rolex sub for £250 fact or fiction
Was speaking to a guy who owns a jewellery shop and he had someone come into the store asking if he could polish the scratch out of his Rolex Sub, after obliging he got talking to the customer and he had just bought it from a friend who didn't want it and obviously had no idea of its worth for £250 with full b+p. The shop owner thinks it was a 5513 but couldn't swear to it. It just goes to show that if your in the right place at the right time you may be able to get a true bargin.

That seems too good to be true. If it were genuine that would be an absolute steal.

right place, right time. my local jeweler in Indiana bought an original Milgauss for $600.00 about six years ago. And I declined to purchase it for $4000.00 so shame on me. M

I think he means "friend".
I would never take advantage of a proper friend.
